An einigen Stellen ist diese Wasserrutsche in einer ehemaligen slowenischen Therme bereits eingestürzt. In den Innenbecken steht trübes Wasser, lediglich das Quellbecken wird immer noch mit frischem warmem Wasser versorgt und läd zu einem Bad ein.

Taken at a nearby indoor swimming pool. I visited this location just two weeks before it was demolished. It was closed down in 2008 just when a new spa a few kilometers away was opened. Unfortunately, it was vandalized just days before I arrived.

This is one of the first movie theatres ever buildt - thus it is considered national heritage. Nevertheless it has been abandoned in the 1980s. Plans existed to restore and revive the building, however, due to lack of funds work was stopped years ago. Even though seating and all decoration has been removed, it still is a quiet place, telling a rather unique story of the beginning of moving pictures when movie theaters had an orchestra pit. Fortunately, there is no vandalism so far - and even one of the projectors still is in place.

Captured in a public swimming pool which was shut down years ago. The moorish architecture is rather unique. Fortunately, there is being taken care of this building, however, it would cost several millions of Euros to restore the bath. Funds are low, at least the roof could be renewed to protect the bulding in its current state.

Taken in an abandoned guesthouse in Austria. Meanwhile, this place burned down and has been demolished shortly after.

Captured in the abandoned Power Mower Mansion. Buildt in the 16th century it once was a luxurious residential building which later was converted into a psychiatric hospital for children. Everything that reminds of a madhouse has been removed by now, probably due to its doubtful history during these years. However, some luxury of the past has survived until now.
